My first experience as a muralist was on the mural you see above. It was a restoration done in Lake City, South Carolina. I was taught by my mentor Herman Keith, a professor at Claflin University at the time. In the time took for us to finish we met another artist who created designs for a sign company, her expert technique allowed us to finish the job more efficiently. Her designs influenced me to better understand the digital side of art aside from my concentration in traditional art. This led to me creating O.D. Vizualz LLC, a Design Company and later a community organization called Stoodnt Bodi.

Once I started to help restore murals, I began doing research on categories that can be learned like history, anatomy, astronomy and mythology. I would create this through comic books, paintings, digital designs and children’s books to bring awareness to topics that interest me as a youth.
